Hi, I'm Charles Bradbeer

Following the acquisition of DeployNodes by LiquidWebSpace LTD, I have been onboarded as the Director of Cloud Engineering. In this role, I am responsible for leading the continuous operation of our network infrastructure. This includes managing our Network Operations Center (NOC), overseeing interconnectivity between systems, and handling our co-location services. My team works diligently to maintain the stability, security, and scalability of our network, ensuring seamless performance for all of our clients across various platforms.

As Software Engineer Director at LiquidWebSpace, I lead a team of three freelance engineers, providing technical direction and overseeing key infrastructure projects. My primary focus is on managing the installation and optimization of core Linux operations across our hosting servers, ensuring they run efficiently and reliably to support business needs.

I am responsible for all PHP, SQL, and UI changes within the company’s platform, reviewing and proving the code, or signing off on the work completed by the freelance engineers. This ensures that all development aligns with our technical standards and business objectives. Additionally, I designed the main billing CRM used by LiquidWebSpace, which streamlines client management and automates invoicing processes, greatly enhancing operational efficiency.

In addition to server management, I oversee the design, security, and performance of our data network, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. I also manage co-location setups and provide ongoing support to optimize server hardware and hosting solutions in line with client requirements.

My role allows me to apply a diverse set of skills, including Linux administration, network architecture, PHP development, SQL management, and DevOps practices. I’m deeply involved in both high-level strategy and hands-on technical work, balancing leadership and engineering to drive continuous improvement. The collaborative nature of this work, along with the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges, has been incredibly rewarding.

As a freelance Data Analyst at YVSSE Hosting, I analyse and interpret large sets of data using Microsoft Excel. In my freelance role, I perform the following key responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain data dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on customer behaviour, identifying patterns and trends to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to develop and execute data-driven strategies.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements and automation, streamlining data collection and analysis.

Since working with YVSSE Hosting, I have improved data accuracy and streamlined reporting processes, resulting in faster decision-making and improved business performance. My expertise in Microsoft Excel and my analytical and problem-solving skills enable me to provide valuable insights to the organization and contribute to its growth.
